Would you give up your laptop or computer for a tablet?

There has been a great deal of discussion on where users will gravitate. Will people go for Tablet or Slate devices or will they stand by their laptops?
Tablets are quick, easy and great for consuming information. Laptops and dektops are much better for producing information such as documents, spreadsheet and producing multimedia productions.

i might it just depends i honestly think that ipads are much easier to carry around and work with.

I'm always up for the next gadget! But I wouldn't eliminate my computer or my (second-hand) laptop. They each have a place/purpose in my world.

I haven't really used an ipad to know if I would like it or not. However, at this point, I love my laptop and would find it hard to give it up.

I'm not sure I would give up my laptop. I like the keyboard and am used to this. I'm trying my ipad though.
